Maldives
The Maldives is home to some of the most stunning beaches and amazing clear seas in the world.
Over a million people a year visit one of the incredible resorts which occupies its own island, to experience luxury and tranquillity in a serenely beautiful setting. Located just southwest of India and Sri Lanka in the Indian Ocean, this little paradise is also perfect for anyone with an interest in marine life, with a thriving underwater world waiting to be explored through boat trips, snorkelling or diving.
Weather
Although the Maldives is reliably hot throughout the year, its wet season begins in May and lasts until October so this time can be quite rainy and humid but still popular among tourists. November to April is the dry season, bringing a beautiful exotic climate with very little rainfall, soaring temperatures and long days of sunshine.
Low Season: May – October
